I have to say, I haven't had a swim cap on in decades. They used to make them out of a thick rubbery material and there was always a chin strap to help it stay on. But, my hair always got wet around the edges. I have very long hair, down to the middle of my back, so I didn't know if this cap would fit. This cap not only covered my entire head of hair but fit so snugly that no water was going to make its way inside. The silicone material is thin and soft, yet durable. It won't slip off your head and is comfortable when you move. The edges don't dig into your skin.
