My husband loves his k-cups, but only breakfast blend. I don't drink coffee but I like a cup of tea once in a while. I have been trying to pinch pennies, lately, and I think we're going to stop purchasing the pre-filled k-cups at the store. Every time I go it's another eight dollars per pack of 12. I can get a large container of coffer for the same price and it would last a lot longer than 12 servings.
The single-serve k-cup refillable filter is the answer. The purple one fits our machine and will be used with our own brand of coffee. It has stainless steel mesh screening and the rest is plastic for easy cleaning.
By using the refillable k-cup filter we will also have less detrimental affect on the environment with less waste of plastics.
