I don't drink tea or coffee but I like to have hot water available so that I can drink it 'as is' or make a cup of cocoa. It's handy when the water is already hot and you don't have to wait for it to heat up. I use one of these at work.
The lid on this pot is a vacuum seal and screws off and on. I like the lever action to let the water out. Most other units have a twist off cap that you just turn to get the water out. This one works better with an easy pour spount. The stainless steel base is double-walled and stain resistant. The design of the carafe is elegant with clean lines and would make a great addition to any party table.
