I have two dogs and we live in the country. Now, the countryside is usually dark unless we have a full moon when it can be a bright as the day. The dogs always need to go out before we go to bed for the night and there are times when they go around the corner of the house and I'm left to go out and find them. I don't have a flashlight handy so I depend upon hearing their collars jingle jangle with their tags. It can be frightening when I don't hear them but with these led lights that clip right to their collars, I can see where they are in an instant. There's a little button to on the bottom side that activates the light into a steady burn, blinking, or alternating flasher. On the back side you can write their name or your phone number in case the dogs take off anyway. I would have like the button to be more secured into the housing because one of mine is loose but it still works. A free tic remover came in the package that we used right away on a cat and it removed the tick safely and securely.
