Along with owning two dogs, you go through a lot of dog food. Even more, are the doggy treats. I like to give them as a bribe to get them into their crates or the dog pen. Dog treats can be expensive and I like to purchase the ones that are free of the corn, soy, meat by-products and so forth. So, I acquired these silicone baking pans for dog treats.
It was easy to find a recipe and the one I used was peanut butter based. They only took about five minutes to mix up into a dough. I patted the dough into the molds and then baked them for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. I am always amazed that silicone can be used in this way. When the cookies were done, I was able to get them out of the over using a silicone glove. I get nervous with a baking pan that wiggles and wobbles as these silicone ones do but if you just steady them underneath, they are easy to get out of the oven.
The treats were easily removed, they just popped out. I washed the pans off and they are ready to go. There weren't any charred on or burnt places like you would get with a metal baking pan. These are great and my doggies will be getting 'treated' better from now on.
I received this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
