I was surprised when I received these utensils. Not that they were green, because that's a favorite color of mine, but because of the size of the utensils. They are full sized. The bowls of the spoons will serve up an ample serving of food.
They are silicone on both ends of the stainless steel shafts. Due to the stainless, I was also surprised at the heft of the utensils. They will not break or bend without a struggle. The spoons can be hung up by the heart-shaped hole in the handles but because of my small open kitchen, it's handier to have them in the crock by my stove.
You would think that the silicone would burn or stick to a pan but they glide easily under the food in a frying pan and do not get hot from the heat of the stove. They don't melt or discolor, for the color is completely through the silicone.
These would make a great shower gift or just updating worn out and ugly utensils that you've had for years.
