I have added more silicone to my kitchen wares. This one serves more than one purpose.They are marketed as freezable storage containers for baby foods, breast milk and other pureed foods. There are seven sections complete with a snap on silicone lid that is clear so you can see what is inside without removing the lid.
Also, with the set of two molds, are baby spoons. The handles match the colors of the molds and the spoon bowl is clear silicone soft enough to not irritate baby's gums and strong enough to hold the food in place.
I have another purpose for them because my children and grandchildren are all grown up.
I had decided to try making bath bombs and these molds are perfect. I found a recipe online and proceeded to make the bath bombs. The dough was packed into the molds, left to dry for at least four hours to harden. The bombs are the exact shape of the molds and it was easy to remove them because the silicone is so pliable.I'm sure they would work great for baby's food and milk. It's exciting to use them for other crafts to gift away, too.
