I love sheets. Climbing into a freshly made bed with soft smooth bedding is a sure way to give me peace at bedtime. I have always liked percale or high thread count sheets and I avoid flannel and the stretchy jersey like the plague.This set is microfiber but feels more like percale. The sheets have a small design in the fabric.
My bed is dressed with six pillows, (two sleeping pillows and four decorative) so I was surprised that I didn't need to purchase an extra set of pillowcases to compliment my sheets. The other two pillows get my shams that match the headboard.
The top sheet is hemmed and the fitted bottom elastic is free-flowing and sewn in to the hem of the sheet for easy fit on my pillow top mattress.. I washed this set before I adding it to my bed and they came out wrinkle-free.
