Did you ever wonder how acidic or alkaline your water is? I have tested mine in the past but all that I had were those little paper test strips. I really didn't know if they were accurate or not but we had them for our pool water. There are a lot of factors that can affect the ph factor of water, i.e. temperature, carbon dioxide, ions and so forth. This unit is more accurate. There are complete instructions how to calibrate the meter and it comes with three different packets of buffer powder to aid in that process. We have town water supply and the ph reading that we got was 7.91, (6.5–9.5 being the normal range). If your ph is too high, it can affect how your clothes rinse clean.
I received this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
