It's amazing that there are so many straws made out of different materials. I've tried glass, paper and now there is stainless steel. These straws come in a set of six with two cleaning brushes. These are unique in the fact that they are pre-bent for easy sipping your liquids. I used mine in a six ounce glass of green smoothie. The stainless straw handled the thickness of my smoothie very well. Another nice thing about these straws, is that, if your drink is ice cold the straw will become cold, too. It's like drinking from the glass cold but the straw gives you the same temp. Being stainless, they are less susceptible to rusting and they are easily sanitized.
