I have 2 cats and 2 dogs. I've always had animals, therefore, I've always had animal hair...everywhere. No matter how much you vacuum there is always hair. So, I've always had fur brushes. I've had regular combs, regular hair brushes. They would get plugged up with hair in the bristles and I'd have to take a comb and pull the hair out. It was like doing the animals all over again. I kept waiting for something simple that would just comb through the hair, remove the undergrowth during shedding time and be easy peasy to clean when finished. This is that product. It flows through my short haired lab mix dog and my two cats. My Lhasa doesn't care for it, though because it pulls a little too much but he doesn't shed anyway. The pile of hair in the bottom picture is from my female, who gets hair balls quite easily, and that's just from one brushing. I love the fact that this sweep is metal. It should last a long time. It's quite comfortable for me to use and the animals enjoy the brushing. Love this product!
