I hate being out in the dark without some sort of light. Living in the country, we don't have any street lights to illumine the area around our home and property. We depend upon the stars and moon or use a flashlight. Our house lighting only travels about 10 feet and the areas that are left in the dark are full of creatures of the dark. When I let my dogs out at night to drain their bladders, I often keep an eye out for where they have traveled. Until the sensors lights come on, it's hard to see them. Now that I have these LED safety lights by Sigem, I can clip one to the collar of each dog. The set also comes with hook and loop straps for around your arms or legs when you are jogging or walking along in the dark so that cars will be able to see you along side the road. Even in the day time, the red led light will make you noticeable. The lights are equipped with batteries so that they light immediately. There is a small screwdriver to remove the backs to replace the batteries. Two extra batteries are included but each light takes two.
