This extra power source by BESTEK for my electronics would have been handy to have in my purse when my mom was in the hospital. Long stays in the ER without a charging cable don't make for an easy way to communicate with family members that live out of town. Simply plug the unit into any USB port to charge the storage battery. There is an on/off switch on the side for a red laser light. A red charging light will turn green when the battery is fully charged. The cable inserts into my reading tablet and will enable me to read or surf the net for hours. It only works on an iPhone 5, which I currently use. This power bank fits easily into my purse and I can clip it to a key chain if I don't want to carry my purse but need the power. This is a neat little unit.
