Just to try this out, I had to go and buy a steak for my husband, I think beef is at an all time high! But he deserves one after working hard all day. This tenderizer would make any piece of meat tender. The multiple piercing knife blades sink into the meat with hand pressure. I used just enough to get the meat pierced on one side and then flip it over to the other side. I used a cut of sirloin to try it out. Since I don't eat meat, it's all up to my husband's taste opinion. Works great and is made well to last for years of usage.
