It ancient times, jewelry had specific purposes other than accenting clothes with beauty. I'm so glad that the return of jewelry that is pretty and has a purpose of emitting healing fragrances into the air. This necklace is one of those. It opens like a locket and inside there is a felt pad on which you can place your favorite essential oil. Mine is lavender because it is a soothing scent. Other oils are tea tree, that helps to keep away mosquitoes and eucalyptus which helps me when I have a stuffy nose. The chain is long enough so that on my short frame it comes midway on my chest. There are also extra colored felt disks to complement my wardrobe. Great product.
