A long, long, time ago, I can still remember...well, that's a song but I remember the day my husband fell from a ladder and his knee landed on a tree stump. Not a good day! It is decades later and he has a hard time walking for a distance without the knee throbbing and feeling weak. When I received these knee sleeves, I knew he had to give them a try. Mind you, he only needs the one, but they are able to fit either leg so he can wear one out and then use the other one. They are quality made and detailed. The compression fit lends a lot of support to the joint and are comfortable enough to wear under his jeans or slacks. A great product for runners, too.
