I have a cat. A cat who likes to chew, likes to chew my charging cords. I have gone through at least five cords this year alone. It's very aggravating. I didn't know that they sold anything other than the plastic coated cords until I saw this product. This one charges iPhones 5 & 6, iPads and iPods. The cording is braided and a super tough lightening cable. It is durable and should last a long time, protecting my charging even from cat teeth. It is USB 2.0 compatible and is high speed charging. This is my go-to charging cord.
