My husband and I have found a fantastic Thai restaurant. My girlfriends introduced me to this restaurant on our monthly lunch date and I've been hooked ever since. The food is so fresh and delicious that I had to bring my husband who is a fried rice lover. I go for the green curry but he gets this rice dish with shrimp, beef and chicken. It is soon devoured. He's even memorized the item number.
The last time I went I ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice, but vegan with no egg. I thought that I would be brave and try using the chopsticks. The waiter looked at me oddly but gave me a set of bamboo chopsticks. What's Asian without using chopsticks?
I dove into my first bite, well, it was less than a bite but soon I got the hang of it, right down to the last bite, for which I had to use a spoon. After I finished, I realized that I really didn't care for the taste or texture of the bamboo. I was able to pick up this set of titanium chopsticks. I think it's because, in the Western World, we're are used to the taste of metal rather than bamboo.
The girls will be so surprised at our next luncheon that will be at a Vietnamese establishment! I can't wait! These will be easier to work with because of the grooved tips and the square stick. There will be less spillage and they won't roll off my plate or the table.
I received this product at a promotional discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
