IT'S A CUT UP!

It takes a tree a long time to grow and when it's reached usable growth, it is cut down and re-purposed into useful items for humans.  The grain of a tree, when it is cut, determines its value on the market. Most wooden products have beautiful grains and the producers use the grain to its fullest advantage.

Enter this beautiful wooden cutting board made from walnut trees.  It is a large 17 X 11 X 1 inch thick one-piece slab of wood.  Just think how long this tree took to grow. The board is untreated so I used natural beeswax to season the wood and seal the grain. It has a nice 'ditch' around the edge of the board so that any juices are caught as you are cutting your food.

I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
