Everyone outside your circle, and most within it, are wrong.

You wistfully refer to public stoning as “the good ole days.”

You secretly loathe humility and wonder why Jesus gets all the attention during worship.

You may be a Pharisee if…

You and you alone can correctly interpret the Bible.

God’s still, small voice has come to sound exactly like you.

You pray, “Thy will be done,” and people wonder why you’re talking to yourself.

You may be a Pharisee if…

Finally, on that great and terrible Day, you’re shocked to hear, “Depart from me. I never knew you!”
