The LED screen shows the exact temperature and the different colors mean different temperatures are in the air. Blue is less than 57.2 degrees, green for 59-68 degrees, orange is for 69.8 to 78.8, and red is over 80.6 degrees. So in other words, blue means coldest and red is hottest.
The top of the unit can be pressed for the light to activate. It's a soft light so it's perfect as a night light anywhere in the house.
Included are a rechargeable battery, USB cord, and AC adapter. You can recharge the battery through your computer with the USB or plug it into the wall with the AC adapter.
