I turned 2 in 1971. I see the Rolling Stones mentioned somewhere in there...they are playing as I type this about 10 km away from me. It's an outdoor concert so I can hear it from my window...
To this day, my favorite album of all time is Carole King's "Tapestry." Every song on that album is sing-along-able. We are of nearly the same age; I married in 1975. The groomsmen wore turquoise polyester tuxes. Good grief, what were we thinking back then?
I became 21 that year. If I knew then, what I know now? Praise Jesus!
I got married in 1971 also. Those were the songs of our day. I love Three Dog Night and John Denver was my hero. My husband has all the Beatles on CD and when he bought his Ipod, he transferred them over. I also liked Johnny Rivers, Union Gap, Harry Chapin and so many more.
Speaking of polyster...Oh My Gosh
