This is a quote from a new book by Cindy Trimm called "Commanding Your Morning".
"Filter out of your thoughts anything that you do not want in your future and focus on what you truly desire."
I loved this book. It's like a newer version of E. W. Kenyon's "The Power of Your Words."
I have been ensnared by the words of my mouth many times. Think about all the things you have said 'off the cuff' and later they have become true.
I just got off the phone with my sister and she was talking about a problem with her son's heart. She stated that he would be on medication when he gets older.
Now WHY would you speak that into his life? But, she doesn't have the biblical teaching that the facts are not the Truth.
The facts are what we see, what the doctors say but the Truth is what God says. He said we are healed by His stripes. He IS Truth.
The book also talks about how when God created the heavens and the earth, He declared "Let there be light". What was dark became illuminated.
Let's speak only light into our and others lives.
In the case of household salvation: LET THERE BE LIGHT!
In the case of trial and tribulation: LET THERE BE LIGHT!
In the case of financial difficulty: LET THERE BE LIGHT!
In any case that is contrary to God's law: LET THERE BE LIGHT!
In every dark place: LET THERE BE LIGHT!
Speak it, live it, believe it: LET THERE BE LIGHT!

Amen girl!
I am finding that we could use a whole lot of light in our area.
There is power in the tongue-both for good and bad.
Yes, this is so right. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Yes yes yes!

Glad that we are in one accord.
Hi deb. Nice to meet you.
Yes, this is so true. It is His Word that is the Truth, not all the other opinions and 'facts' and so on. Thanks for reminding us about this today.
