TESTIMONY!

Unequally Yoked

For those who have been following the salvation of my husband, my testimony has been published at All About Living.

Pray that those who are unequally yoked will find comfort and strength in these words.

We are saved by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. Praise God.

P.S. My new bible study is to go throught the Bible with the Matthew Henry commentary. What an eyeopener!

A New Anointing

My pastor preached the other day on the anointing. He explained that it wasn't a feeling that comes over you as in a sudden chill. It's not a tangible thing.

God anoints people by using the skills and talents a person already has and makes use of them for His Kingdom purposes.

So whoever and whatever you are, is to be used for Him. He will infuse you with His Word to perform the actions necessary to help others escape from whatever has them in bondage.

He will refine you into a likeness of Jesus.

We are to take others to Jesus not to ourselves, for within our selves is nothing good. But Jesus is good.

Don't use the excuse that 'God made me this way'. That is truth but He loves you too much to leave you this way. Everyone needs to be changed into the likeness of Christ.

All of the trials, victories and waiting are a testimony to others. They are watching and waiting to see how you will handle situations. They will use your response to justify their own.

Rom 5:3 And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance;
Rom 5:4 and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;
Rom 5:5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

ABOUT THE BOOK:

WHO KILLED HER BOSS?

Local police had tagged single mom Becky Dennison as their prime suspect. But she'd only been in the wrong place at the wrong time...admittedly, with her boss's lifeless body. Sure it looked bad, but Becky had no motive for killing...even if she had opportunity.

When the director of the retirement farm for thoroughbred champions is murdered, Becky Dennison teams up with the handsome manager of a neighboring horse farm, Scott Lewis, to find her boss's killer. Soon the amateur dectived are hot on the trail of the murderer...even as their feelings for each other deepen.

The amateur sleuths uncover a trail of clues that lead them into the intricate society of Kentucky's elite thoroughbred breeding industry. They soon find themselves surrounded by the mint julep set - jealous southern belles and intensely competitive horse breeders - in a high-stakes game of danger, money, and that famous southern pride.

And for Becky and Scott, this race on the Kentucky tracks has the greatest stakes of all: life or death!

Let There Be Light

This is a quote from a new book by Cindy Trimm called "Commanding Your Morning".

"Filter out of your thoughts anything that you do not want in your future and focus on what you truly desire."

I loved this book. It's like a newer version of E. W. Kenyon's "The Power of Your Words."

I have been ensnared by the words of my mouth many times. Think about all the things you have said 'off the cuff' and later they have become true.

I just got off the phone with my sister and she was talking about a problem with her son's heart. She stated that he would be on medication when he gets older.

Now WHY would you speak that into his life? But, she doesn't have the biblical teaching that the facts are not the Truth.

The facts are what we see, what the doctors say but the Truth is what God says. He said we are healed by His stripes. He IS Truth.

The book also talks about how when God created the heavens and the earth, He declared "Let there be light". What was dark became illuminated.

Let's speak only light into our and others lives.

In the case of household salvation: LET THERE BE LIGHT!

In the case of trial and tribulation: LET THERE BE LIGHT!

In the case of financial difficulty: LET THERE BE LIGHT!

In any case that is contrary to God's law: LET THERE BE LIGHT!

In every dark place: LET THERE BE LIGHT!

Speak it, live it, believe it: LET THERE BE LIGHT!
