Salvation is Here!

For all of those spouses with unsaved spouses, there is hope!

My husband committed himself to the Lord yesterday, April 15th.

We'll be married 36 years this June. I feel like a newlywed again.

God is faithful to keep His promises. Promises of household salvation. Promise that if we are persistant and persevere He will honor that. He stored up all my tears of supplication and standing in the gap for my Mike and granted His salvation in a beautiful simple moment.

It's taking me awhile to soak it in. I didn't hear any fanfare or even cry when I heard.

I expected.

I waited for God's response. I told God that this was the year. I wanted Mike's salvation proven, once and for all.

Please don't give up on your lost loved ones. Seek and seek and seek. Knock and knock and knock. Ask and ask and ask. Expect, expect, expect, expect...

You will see the deliverance of God's hand in your life. The timing will be perfect. The results to the Glory of God.

Hallelujah! Salvation has come to my house. Truly I can say "As for me and my house we will serve the Lord."

Thanks Sharon! I just spent the whole day 'shut in' with the Lord. I've read 'The Power of a Praying Wife' by Stormie O'Martain. How wonderful are the prayers when you have new hope in your spouse's salvation.

That is wonderful, wonderful news. What a delight to click on to your blog and read this! My Mum was a real woman of faith and the first in our household to be saved, she had a strong belief and faith that the 'rest of your household will be saved'. She prayed faithfully for me - and 2 years later I became a Christian, it was some 14 years later before my Dad became a Christian and he was sooooo anti-God and Church and opposed her many times - now he is an active member in his Church! Anyway, the focus is on you - but wanted to share and say - that is soooo awesome.

Thanks Karen,
I'm still soaking in the peace that He's given me.

PRAISE! THE! LORD! Let the banquet begin! (But the father said to his servants, 'Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. 23Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let's have a feast and celebrate. 24For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.' So they began to celebrate. Luke 15:22-24)

Celebrating with you!

Diane

I also popped over from Spiritually Unequal Marriage. I'm so happy for you, and this post is such a faith-builder for me. What an encouragement and example you are to your husband and to me (and I'm sure many others). What a praise.
