I have used several different brands of dog leashes for my mom's dog and I have to say that this is the nicest one yet. Walking him in the city with a 9 ft leash was ok, but in the country I like to give him lots of room. This heavy duty professional leash is extra long at 16 ft. It has a bungee leash adapter that attaches to the collar first to prevent a sudden choke hold on the dog. Then the leash attaches. The recoil into the handle of the leash is smooth and fast. To prevent the dog from galloping away there is a break button on the thumb part of the top that you push and it locks the leash from extending any further. It comes with a removable wrist strap that you need while walking the dog in case you lose your grip on the retractable handle. The storage bag is waterproof and sturdy. As a bonus, you get the dog waste poop bag dispenser that can also double as a treat dispenser and it clips on your belt. This is a great product for yourself or as a gift to someone with a new dog member of the family.
